Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Killian McDougle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darius Christophe!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougle scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Christophe doesn't seem bothered though.
Christophe cracks McDougle with a right hand to the side of the head.
McDougle lands a two punch combo.
Christophe misses with a wild combination.
McDougle jabs at Christophe's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McDougle lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Christophe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McDougle finds it's way round the side to connect with Christophe's head.
McDougle jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Christophe takes one to the chin there.
McDougle throws a hook to the side of Christophe's head but Christophe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McDougle stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
McDougle uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Christophe is rocked!
A telegraphed right hand from McDougle misses the target.
Christophe is still on wobbly legs! Can McDougle finish him?
McDougle waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Christophe.
Christophe seems to have recovered his senses.
Christophe connects with an inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McDougle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Christophe gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! McDougle gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Christophe is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Killian McDougle!
