Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giles Deloozer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Diotte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diotte has chosen Cypress Hill - I Want 2 Get High as his entrance music. Giles Deloozer has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Giles Deloozer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Diotte!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diotte throws a hook but Deloozer avoids it easily.
Diotte throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Deloozer clinches up against the cage.

Diotte pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Deloozer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Diotte takes the fight into the clinch.
Diotte lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Diotte.
Deloozer is breathing heavily.

Diotte breaks from the clinch.
Deloozer on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Deloozer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.


It looks like Giles Deloozer has been cut.
Deloozer slips a jab and a cross from Diotte.

Diotte darts in and clinches Deloozer up against the cage.
Diotte misses with a hook to the ribs.
Diotte lands with a short shot to the head.
Diotte misses with a punch to the body.
Diotte lands with a short head shot on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Deloozer is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Diotte is keeping busy.
Diotte misses with a knee strike.
Deloozer takes a shot to the head.
Diotte tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Deloozer's elbow.
A right handed body shot lands from Diotte.
Diotte lands a body punch in the clinch.

Diotte breaks from the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Diotte or perhaps it was just good defense by Deloozer which made him look bad.

Diotte has managed to clinch.
Deloozer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Deloozer swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Deloozer is trying to force a seperation but Diotte has the dominant position.
Diotte tries to land knees in the clinch but Deloozer avoids the damage to the body.
Diotte misses with a hook to the ribs.
Diotte takes a shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Diotte's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Diotte shoots in for a takedown but Deloozer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Diotte clinches.
Diotte controlling the action here for a moment.
Deloozer throws a head punch that misses.
Diotte keeps control of Deloozer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Diotte digs a right hand underneath Deloozer's ribcage. Deloozer let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Diotte manages to break the clinch.
Diotte scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Diotte ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Diotte slips under a jab.

Diotte closes the distance and clinches.
Diotte goes for a takedown attempt but Deloozer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Giles Deloozer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Diotte.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Deloozer enables Diotte to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Deloozer manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Deloozer has momentary wrist control but Diotte slips an elbow through the middle.
Diotte trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diotte pushing down on Deloozer's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Diotte content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Deloozer is refusing to be controlled, as Diotte sits in half guard.
Diotte controlling the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Diotte thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Diotte uses his free foot to push down on Deloozer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Deloozer.
Diotte scores with a couple of good head shots there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Diotte working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Diotte lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Diotte in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andrew Diotte dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Giles Deloozer's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Deloozer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Diotte lands the left hand.


Giles Deloozer's cut is getting worse.
Deloozer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diotte swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Diotte instigates a clinch.
Deloozer takes a knee to the side of the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diotte presses Deloozer against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Diotte escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Diotte lands a big uppercut and Deloozer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Deloozer looks OK. Diotte waves Deloozer back to his feet!


Deloozer is rocked!
Diotte throws a nice looking combination but Deloozer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Oh Deloozer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diotte has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Diotte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Deloozer seems to have got his legs back now.

Diotte lands a big uppercut and Deloozer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Deloozer looks OK. Diotte waves Deloozer back to his feet!


Giles Deloozer's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Diotte knocks Deloozer out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Andrew Diotte!
Andrew Diotte seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
