Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Keogh!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Waul!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keogh forces Waul back against the cage and clinches.
Waul wants a takedown.
Waul tries to score a body lock takedown but Keogh shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Waul manages to pull guard.
Keogh avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Keogh stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Waul wants to clinch
and Keogh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Waul won't be happy with that.
Keogh throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Waul struggling a bit here.
Keogh controls the position.
Waul is trying to improve his position.
Keogh controlling the position from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Keogh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Waul keeps working.
Sloppy strikes there by Keogh.
Waul trying to remain calm as Keogh controls from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Waul pushes Keogh away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Keogh gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Waul dodges the ground and pound from Keogh.
Waul manages to get back to half guard.
Keogh stalling.
Waul wants to control but Keogh is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Waul is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Keogh stands up from half guard.
Keogh takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Waul lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Keogh can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Waul and Keogh drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Waul.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Waul!
