Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Spike Spiegel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zaq Wu Sang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spiegel comes to the cage accompanied by Tank by The Seatbelts. Wu Sang has chosen Europe - Rock the Night as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spike Spiegel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zaq Wu Sang! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spiegel moves out of range of the strikes. Wu Sang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Spiegel throwing hammer fists to the chest of Wu Sang. What's that going to do exactly? Spiegel is working to get back to half guard.
Wu Sang is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Spiegel can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Wu Sang pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wu Sang fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wu Sang lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Wu Sang has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wu Sang connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wu Sang looking to finish Spiegel with some ground and pound. This is bad for Spiegel!
