Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Weed Hopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iain Durrant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Weed Hopper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Iain Durrant! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durrant defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hopper. Durrant throws a right and a left that Hopper avoids nicely. Durrant thuds his right hand into Hopper's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Durrant lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hopper backs up against the cage.
It looks like Weed Hopper has been cut. Hopper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Durrant is fending him off so far but Hopper persists. Nope, Durrant circles away and we're back to standing. Durrant shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hopper eats them both and turns towards Durrant to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Durrant punishes Hopper's body with a nice straight punch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hopper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Durrant as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Weed Hopper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sloppy strikes from Durrant. Those never looked like landing. Durrant misses with a series of wild punches.
Weed Hopper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hopper shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hopper seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Durrant does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hopper is trying to work for a kimura but Durrant is defending well.
Durrant tries to get to full guard but Hopper has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durrant wants to control but Hopper is keeping busy.
Durrant gets back to full guard.
Hopper tries to free his leg and advance position but Durrant is retaining full guard. Durrant wants to sweep but no luck. Hopper wants to control from the top but Durrant keeps moving. Durrant has an active guard here but Hopper has managed to pass into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hopper passes the guard and advances to mount! Hopper stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Durrant misses with the combination.
Hopper avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hopper slips a straight right by Durrant. Durrant uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Durrant misses with a wild body shot. Hopper shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Durrant is trying to defend but Hopper finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. This has been an exciting period of action! Hopper is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hopper looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hopper maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Durrant could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hopper has cracked it and Durrant is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hopper!
