Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Martin Cash!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baumann drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Baumann trying to control the action but Cash is working from the bottom.

Cash throws Baumann to one side and escapes!
Baumann on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Cash throws a head kick that half lands.
Cash lands with a kick to the temple. Baumann shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cash connects with an inside leg kick.
Cash scores with a head kick.
Cash uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baumann.

Cash moves into the clinch.
Cash with a knee to the head.
Cash landing knees to the head.
Cash putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Baumann in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Baumann is breathing heavily.
Cash unloads a knee to the mid-section. Baumann lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Cash obliges.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cash with a knee to the head.

Cash drops Baumann with a big knee straight up the middle! Baumann is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Baumann is rocked!
Cash fails with an attempt to clinch.
Oh Baumann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cash tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Baumann manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Martin Cash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cash wants to clinch.
Cash tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baumann swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Whack! Cash lands a heavy head kick that drops Baumann. The ref tackles Cash to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Baumann was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Martin Cash!
