Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Tranq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tranq.
Tyler looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Tyler is trying to get back to half guard.
Tyler is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Tranq is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Tranq goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Tyler turns into him and now he's in Tranq's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tranq wants to stand up but Tyler is controlling him.

Tranq drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tyler dives on top into guard.
Tyler is looking to work some ground and pound but Tranq has wrist control.

Tranq really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tranq has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tyler clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Tranq is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Let's hope that Tranq has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tranq holds on and takes a little breather.

Tyler shoots for a takedown but Tranq saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tyler is trying to drag Tranq to the mat but Tranq just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Tyler has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tranq uses from the top position.

Tranq must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Tranq pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Well Tranq has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Brock Tranq decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
