Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Alpha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Khripunova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alpha throws out a loose jab but Khripunova uses good head movement to avoid it.

Alpha chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Khripunova can pounce on him.
Alpha sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Khripunova crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Alpha - the referee stops the clock and Khripunova gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Alpha. Khripunova manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Khripunova connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Alpha momentarily.

Alpha connects with a good right hand that stumbles Khripunova. Khripunova circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Alpha takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Khripunova lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Alpha has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Alpha and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Khripunova ducks straight into an uppercut from Alpha and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Khripunova manages to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Sergei Khripunova has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
