The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red checks a leg kick.
Aiteouakrim swats away the attempt to clinch by Red.
Red drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Red thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Aiteouakrim knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Red on the ground.
Red postures up in Aiteouakrim's guard and throws a big left but Aiteouakrim blocks it.
Red working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Aiteouakrim's head.
Red throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Red's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Red drops back looking for a leg! Aiteouakrim is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aiteouakrim manages to kick Red off! Red jumps back into Aiteouakrim's guard.
Red drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Red jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Red is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Red wants to control from the top but Aiteouakrim keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Red accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Red forces his way into half guard.
Red is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Red is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Aiteouakrim is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
