Stakanu comes to the ring accompanied by Oy, To Ne Vecher. Jones has chosen On the Eve of War as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Stakanu isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jones stacks Stakanu on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jones!

Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Stakanu eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Stakanu is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Jones drops Stakanu with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stakanu looks back up at him and smiles so Jones waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Stakanu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

A relieved looking Russell Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
