Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kenny Horn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Moses MIx!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MIx tries to bum rush Horn with a series of wild strikes but Horn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
MIx looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Horn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Horn throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by MIx.
It looks like Moses MIx has been cut.
Horn cracks the inside of MIx's front leg.
Horn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
MIx has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Horn.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
MIx walks into a straight right hand from Horn.
MIx throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horn scores with a nice head shot.
MIx throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
MIx throws a hook but Horn blocks it.
MIx misses with a takedown attempt - Horn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice straight punches there by Horn. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Horn.
MIx throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Horn's waist but Horn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing MIx off to one side.
A jab from MIx misses.
Horn rushes MIx and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Horn creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through MIx's defenses.
That has opened up Moses MIx's cut even more.

The cut above Moses MIx's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Moses MIx's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kenny Horn!
Kenny Horn decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
