Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Renton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelly Gomaco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renton comes to the cage accompanied by Underworld - Born Slippy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renton drives through with a takedown into Gomaco's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Gomaco is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Renton is aware though and is defending well.
Gomaco escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Renton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Renton drops back looking for a leg! Gomaco is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gomaco manages to kick Renton off! Renton jumps back into Gomaco's guard.
Gomaco has momentary wrist control but Renton slips an elbow through the middle.

Gomaco bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Renton's guard.
Renton is looking to stand up but Gomaco isn't so interested in that idea.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Renton looking for a sweep. Not yet Renton, not yet.
Gomaco is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Renton lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gomaco!

Renton moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gomaco has worked his arm free - good work by Gomaco!
Gomaco is trying to control Renton's posture but Renton avoids it.

Gomaco is working to avoid the ground and pound but Renton connects with a decent elbow.
Gomaco takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Gomaco takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Renton in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Renton creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Renton is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Gomaco off. It looks like it's working - Gomaco slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Renton displaying calm under pressure there.
Gomaco takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Renton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gomaco.
Renton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Renton lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Gomaco is rocked!
A big strike lands for Renton! That's really hurt Gomaco and he's turned his back - Renton keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Renton jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Renton!
Mark Renton gave a mention to Steel Penn's Laundry 93% in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
