Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Facaloto Gals!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Philipp Kran!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gals shoots in and bounces Kran off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kran looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kran avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Gals keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kran's head.
Kran has momentary wrist control but Gals slips an elbow through the middle.
Gals lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Gals trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Gals working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gals postures up in Kran's guard and throws a big left but Kran blocks it.
Gals scoring with some ground and pound.
Kran keeping moving, preventing Gals from controlling successfully.
Gals lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Gals has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gals with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Kran is rocked!
Gals lands a couple of elbows.
Kran is still in real trouble! Can Gals finish him?
Gals gets to his feet and stands over Kran, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Kran felt that one! Gals unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Kran from any more punishment!
