Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Pantine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Roy Jones - Can't be touched. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Pantine! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pantine tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pantine looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jackson is fending him off so far but Pantine persists. Nope, Jackson circles away and we're back to standing. A nice combination there by Jackson.
Pantine fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jackson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jackson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pantine. Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Pantine takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jackson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jackson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Pantine in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Pantine sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Pantine is looking for a sweep. Jackson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pantine is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jackson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jackson's back! Pantine keeps control of the position as Jackson tries to break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pantine doesn't have the hooks in and Jackson manages to turn into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson wants to stand and escape but instead Pantine has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Pantine won't allow Jackson to get back to his feet. Jackson is looking to stand back up but Pantine counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jackson. Jackson tries to kick Pantine off but Pantine keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jackson is breathing heavily. Jackson wants to get back to full guard. Jackson missing with punches from the bottom.
Pantine passes to side control. Pantine trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom. Pantine in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Jackson is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mike Pantine!
