Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dinsdale Pirhana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Night Ranger - Sister Christian. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Todd Parker! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pirhana misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A decent looking cross lands there for Parker. Pirhana takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pirhana scores with the left hand. Parker knows he should have avoided that one. Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pirhana paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pirhana takes a swing at Parker's ribcage but misses. Parker misses with a double jab.
Parker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Parker has Pirhana up against the cage in a clinch.
Pirhana throws a head punch that misses. Parker lands an elbow inside. Parker scores with an uppercut up the middle. Parker has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pirhana after a bit of a struggle. Parker misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pirhana.

This has been an exciting period of action! Parker swings wildly with an uppercut but Pirhana uses good head movement to avoid it. Parker gets control of Pirhana's arms and successfully pulls guard. Parker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Parker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pirhana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pirhana really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Parker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pirhana defends well. Pirhana avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Pirhana stays in close to Parker's body and controls the position. Pirhana has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Pirhana slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Parker manages to work his way to half guard, despite Pirhana's best efforts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pirhana is looking to take a break and control but Parker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Parker tries to roll over but Pirhana keeps him under control. Pirhana escapes and gets back to his feet. Pirhana tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Todd Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A right-left combo lands from Parker. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parker throws a series of punches but Pirhana moves out of range. Pirhana keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A jab from Parker misses. Pirhana throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pirhana on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pirhana misses with a straight left. Parker lands with a shot to the body. Parker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pirhana manages to avoid it. Parker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pirhana moves away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Parker lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Parker is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Pirhana rather than just go for the knockout. Pirhana misses with a hook. Parker misses with a wild body shot. Pirhana throws a head kick but Parker moves out of range.
Parker gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Parker walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Parker throws a shot to the body.

Pirhana is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Parker sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Todd Parker seems to be getting the better of the standup. Parker lands with a nice body punch. Parker slips under a jab. A jab from Pirhana misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Parker drives through and clinches with Pirhana against the cage.

Todd Parker seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Parker tries to pull guard but Pirhana won't allow it.
Parker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pirhana backwards. Parker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Pirhana is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Parker tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pirhana's elbow. A head punch on the inside from Pirhana fails to land. Parker tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Parker successfully pulls guard.

Pirhana's corner is telling him to maintain position. Pirhana will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Parker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pirhana doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pirhana manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Parker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pirhana has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The ref stands the fighters back up because Dinsdale Pirhana just wasn't active enough. Pirhana scores with a kick to the midsection. Parker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pirhana checks a leg kick. Pirhana fails to land with a series of punches.
Pirhana connects with the punch. Parker misses the shot to the body. Pirhana moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Parker comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Parker moves into range and clinches up with Pirhana. Pirhana misses with a hook from the clinch. Pirhana is trying to force a seperation but Parker has the dominant position. Pirhana pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pirhana is looking to land body kicks. Pirhana is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Parker. Parker tries to clinch but Pirhana moves out of range. Pirhana checks a leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters circle momentarily. Pirhana darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Parker lands a head shot. Parker takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Dinsdale Pirhana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Todd Parker. Pirhana working some nice short punches in the clinch. That was a close second round but I would say that Dinsdale Pirhana will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Parker stuns Pirhana with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Parker lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pirhana at a distance.

Pirhana uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Pirhana keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Pirhana connects with a good right hand that stumbles Parker. Parker circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Pirhana throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Pirhana missing with a left hand there. Parker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Pirhana throws a series of punches but Parker avoids them all with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pirhana throws out a loose jab but Parker uses good head movement to avoid it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Parker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pirhana throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sloppy strikes from Parker. Those never looked like landing. Parker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Parker moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Parker seems to have recovered his senses. Pirhana will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pirhana's corner calls for a 1-2. Pirhana obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Pirhana takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A looping hook to the body misses from Parker. Pirhana does a little dance to reset his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Parker misses with a body shot.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dinsdale Pirhana. I think Pirhana has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
