Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Charles Bennett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paddy Tyson! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bennett misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bennett fails with a takedown attempt. Tyson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bennett but Bennett pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bennett swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bennett decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Tyson looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bennett's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bennett's back! Bennett is keeping busy.

Tyson throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Tyson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bennett is defending well though. Tyson let's go of the attempt for now.

Tyson throwing wild punches that miss their target. Tyson landing with strikes. Tyson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tyson trying to control. Bennett trying to control the hands but Tyson breaks the grip. A lull in the action here.
Tyson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bennett kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson misses with a punch to the head. Tyson is landing with strikes. Bennett can't take much more of this. Tyson keeps control of the position as Bennett tries to break free.

Tyson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Tyson apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tyson walks into a straight right hand from Bennett. A decent looking cross lands there for Bennett. A punch combination from Bennett misses. Tyson stuffs the takedown attempt from Bennett. Bennett gets slowly back to his feet. Bennett swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Tyson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Tyson slips nicely into half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Bennett avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tyson. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tyson works his way into side control. Bennett is not content to let Tyson control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paddy Tyson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bennett slaps away a takedown attempt from Tyson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tyson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bennett feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tysons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Tyson fails with the takedown and Bennett counters with a three punch combo that has Tyson backing up. Tyson nods at Bennett to acknowledge the strikes. Charles Bennett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paddy Tyson. Tyson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bennett circles away. Tyson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
No luck for Tyson with that takedown attempt. Bennett moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Tyson is breathing heavily. Tyson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bennett.

Bennett will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tyson loads up on a big right hand but Bennett slips the punch. Bennett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jab by Bennett. Bennett fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tyson misses with a wild combination.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tyson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Tyson dives in and grabs Bennett's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bennett pushes down on Tyson's head and hops out.

Bennett paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Tyson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bennett working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tyson. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tyson fails to land the takedown. Bennett leaves Tyson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bennett tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tyson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bennett somewhat. Bennett throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tyson. Tyson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Charles Bennett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paddy Tyson. Bennett shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tyson as he jumps to the side. Bennett tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Tyson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

He's pushed Bennett's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tyson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bennett lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Tyson keeps the fight on the outside. Bennett swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bennett throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tyson needs to keep his hands up - Bennett had a free shot at his head there. Bennett lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A punch combination from Bennett misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Charles Bennett showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bennett has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
