Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Starks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starks's entrance music is Bring Da Ruckus. A fine choice. Tony Starks has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Starks! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Solomon Gunn! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Starks fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gunn on the side of the head. Starks jabs Gunn right on the nose. Gunn blinks but takes it well. Tony Starks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Starks sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Crunch! Gunn slams his shin into Starks's torso. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gunn checks a leg kick. Starks misses with a hook
and Gunn counters with a slapping leg kick. Starks misses with a body shot.
Starks misses the shot to the body. Gunn misses with a low kick. Starks looks to score with a jab to the body but Gunn is just out of range. Starks fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Starks tries to work over Gunn's front leg with a kick but Gunn checks it. Gunn shoots in for a double leg but Starks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Starks throws a hook to the side of Gunn's head but Gunn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Starks has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gunn. Starks misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn darts in and clinches Starks up against the cage. Gunn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gunn blocks a head kick by Starks.
Starks throws a chopping leg kick but Gunn manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Starks walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Gunn cracks the inside of Starks's front leg. Gunn looks to score with a jab to the body but Starks is just out of range. Gunn is looking to slow Starks down with leg kicks. Starks is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gunn lands a nice looking body kick. Gunn connects with a solid leg kick. Gunn pushes Starks away with a front kick. Gunn connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Tony Starks has been cut. Gunn dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Starks. That did some damage! Gunn with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gunn digs a good hook to Starks's body.
Gunn thuds a left hand into Starks's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunn scores with the left hand. Starks knows he should have avoided that one. Gunn throws a nice outside leg kick. Gunn feints and then cracks Starks's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Starks down. Gunn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gunn lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Starks on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gunn. Gunn obviously looking to wear him down.
Gunn connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Starks is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Gunn is looking to clinch but Starks is avoiding it.
Gunn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Starks. Gunn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Gunn feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Starks's calf. Gunn rushes Starks and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gunn throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Starkss head. Gunn utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Gunn lands an elbow inside.
Tony Starks's cut is getting worse. Gunn misses with a knee to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunn drops Starks onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Starks is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Starks is rocked! Gunn lands an elbow just above Starks 's eye. Oh Starks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Gunn pushes Starks against the cage and as Starks bounces back, Gunn cracks him with a massive overhand right that sends him crashing to the mat! Gunn follows up with more strikes but Starks was out from that first, devastating punch! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Solomon Gunn! Solomon Gunn is the new super heavyweight champion! During a confident post fight interview, Solomon Gunn thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
