Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ludvig Landersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikael Samoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samoth has chosen Judas Priest - Painkiller as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludvig Landersson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mikael Samoth! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Landersson throws a leg kick but Samoth sees it coming and checks it nicely. That kick from Landersson tenderised Samoth's leg. Samoth is trying to keep his angry face on. Samoth throws an overhand right that lands on Landersson's shoulder, as Landersson tries to avoid the shot. Samoth takes a body punch but keeps moving. Samoth lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Landersson at a distance.
A jab from Landersson misses. Landersson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Samoth throws a body punch but Landersson moves out of range. Landersson misses with a body shot.
Samoth fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Landersson to the ground. Samoth is now in Landersson's guard. Samoth trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. This has been an exciting period of action! Landersson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Samoth trying to control the position from guard on top but Landersson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Samoth throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Landersson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samoth working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Landersson's head. Samoth is working Landersson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Samoth trying to control but Landersson is working from the bottom. Samoth won't allow Landersson to sweep him here. Samoth with a flurry of punches that miss. Landersson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Samoth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Samoth postures up in Landersson's guard and throws a big left but Landersson blocks it. Samoth controls from within his opponent's guard. Samoth loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Landersson wants to sweep here but Samoth controlling him for the moment. Landersson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Landersson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Samoth! Landersson trying to control but Samoth is having none of it. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Landersson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Landersson is landing with some decent strikes but Samoth is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Samoth is working to get back to half guard.
Samoth bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Samoth postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Landersson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Samoth, into his guard. Landersson won't allow Samoth to sweep him here. Samoth is trying to keep Landersson in close.
Landersson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Landersson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Landersson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
