Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yves Morello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphael Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morello's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fuel. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yves Morello! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raphael Stone! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Morello is defended easily by Stone. Stone is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Morello closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stone circles away. Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Morello moves away. Some wild striking there from Stone.
Nice takedown defense from Stone. No joy for Morello on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yves Morello. That's going to take a lot out of him. A shot to the liver by Stone. Beautiful body shot. Morello takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Raphael Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morello shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Morello checks a leg kick. Stone thuds a left hand into Morello's body. Stone tries to clinch but Morello is having none of it. Morello keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stone looks to land a combination. Morello sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Stone lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stone. Stone tries to clinch and Morello counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Morello is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stone has managed to free his arm - good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone wants to get back to his feet.
Stone is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Morello is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are battling for position here. Stone manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Morello drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Morello has Stone in his guard. Stone wants to stand and escape but instead Morello has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morello won't allow Stone to sweep him here. Morello drops back looking for a leg! Stone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stone manages to kick Morello off! Morello jumps back into Stone's guard. Stone wants to stand but Morello is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stone throws a right and a left that both miss. Stone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

A big mistake from Morello there, giving up the dominant position! Stone is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Raphael Stone. Stone scores with a one two! Morello had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Stone throws a low kick but Morello moves out of range easily. Morello fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stone avoids it really well and circles away. Stone with a body punch. A glancing blow. Stone swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stone throws a combination. Morello tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone throws a front kick aimed at Morello's knee but Morello avoids it well. Stone misses with a head kick.

He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Morello, into his guard. Morello is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stone is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone trying to control but Morello is working from the bottom. Stone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Yves Morello will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Stone pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Morello shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Stone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Morello gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Morello ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Morello gets tackled into the cage by Stone. Stone maintains the clinch. Stone is trying to push Morello away but Morello has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Morello's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Raphael Stone seems to be getting the better of the standup. Stone tries to clinch there but Morello circles away.

Morello postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stone is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Morello, into his guard. Morello is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Stone dives into side control.
Yves Morello overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morello is trying to get back to his feet. Stone has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Stone is looking to clinch. Stone connects with a body shot that sends Morello's belly button to the back. Morello takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone sizes up Morello with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Morello slips a jab and a cross from Stone.
Stone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stone scores with a hook to the body. Morello takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Stone has closed the distance and engaged Morello in a clinch.
Stone breaks the clinch.
Stone throws a solid leg kick but Morello takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stone. Morello is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stone. Stone cracks Morello with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morello takes one on the button. Stone throws a body punch but Morello moves out of range. Morello shoots in looking for a takedown but Stone manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Morello's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Stone is looking to clinch but Morello is avoiding it.
Stone thows a body shot but no joy. Stone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Morello stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Stone is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Morello rather than just go for the knockout. Stone thows a left - swing and a miss! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stone motions for Morello to come forward. Stone throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Morello is defended easily by Stone.
And that's the end of the fight! Raphael Stone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Stone has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
