Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Howlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasia Ebash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howlett comes into the arena with Prodigy - Run With the Wolves blaring out of the sound system. Liam Howlett has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Howlett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Vasia Ebash! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Howlett or perhaps it was just good defense by Ebash which made him look bad. Ebash tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Howlett swivels and escapes. Vasia Ebash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Howlett misses. Howlett tries to clinch but fails miserably and Ebash counters by clinching up. Howlett tries a knee to the head but Ebash blocks it.
Ebash ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ebash no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Howlett trying to control the position from guard on top but Ebash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Howlett is looking to work some ground and pound but Ebash has wrist control. Howlett trying to control but Ebash is working from the bottom. Ebash controlling the position. Howlett won't allow Ebash to sweep him here. Ebash keeping moving, preventing Howlett from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Liam Howlett just wasn't active enough. Ebash shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Howlett as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Howlett shoots in looking for a takedown. Ebash tries to sprawl out of it but Howlett keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ebash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Howlett tries to close the distance and clinch but Ebash swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ebash avoids the head kick by Howlett.
Howlett moves to clinch but Ebash breaks away and Ebash counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ebash. Howlett stalling.
Howlett pulls Ebash into guard.
Ebash stays in close to Howlett's body and controls the position. Howlett is controlling Ebash's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ebash slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ebash trying to control but Howlett is working from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Vasia Ebash hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ebash swats away the attempt to clinch by Howlett. Ebash clinches up against the cage. Howlett ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Howlett no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ebash is looking to work some ground and pound but Howlett has wrist control. Howlett trying to control the position.
Ebash stands up from guard. Let's bang! Ebash closes the distance and clinches. Ebash jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Howlett walks away with a smile on his face. Ebash gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Liam Howlett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasia Ebash. Howlett is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice sprawl there from Ebash as Howlett shoots in. Ebash shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Howlett as he jumps to the side. Ebash closes the distance and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ebash tries to pull guard but Howlett forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Ebash as Howlett tries to tie him up. Ebash fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Howlett wants a takedown but no success here.
Ebash drops down looking for an ankle pick but Howlett pulls his leg out and moves away.
Howlett closes the distance but Ebash moves to the side and Ebash counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Howlett tries to clinch but fails miserably and Ebash moves into the clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Ebash tries for a takedown. No joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Vasia Ebash will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Howlett tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ebash manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ebash takes the fight into the clinch. Howlett breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ebash. Ebash shoots in for a takedown but Howlett shows good takedown defense. Howlett closes the distance and clinches. Ebash gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Howlett.

That's one minute gone in the round. Howlett is pressed up against the cage. Ebash has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Howlett down to the mat. Howlett avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Liam Howlett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasia Ebash. Ebash shoots in and drives through. Howlett sprawls well. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Ebash shoots in but no luck this time. Ebash rushes Howlett and presses him up against the cage. Ebash pulls guard effortlessly. Ebash looking for a sweep. Not yet Ebash, not yet. Ebash is breathing heavily. Ebash keeping moving, preventing Howlett from controlling successfully. Howlett is pushing down on Ebash's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ebash is fighting to maintain full guard but Howlett has managed to sneak the leg through. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Howlett is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ebash sees it coming and defends easily. Howlett is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Howlett is looking to take a break and control but Ebash is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Howlett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ebash trying to hold on to Howlett's head to control him but Howlett postures up.

Howlett is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ebash avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Howlett. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Howlett thows a huge punch but Ebash dodges it nicely.
Ebash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Howlett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Howlett is trying for a kimura here. Ebash looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Howlett wins by kimura!
