Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rainer Zufall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zufall might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rammstein - Sonne. Rainer Zufall had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zufall dodges the punch combination from Black.
Zufall misses with a low kick as Black jumps back.
Zufall misses the shot to the body.
Zufall looks to land a left hand but Black moved out of range nicely.
Black swinging wildly here.
Zufall shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Black fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Black misses with a wild combination.
No joy there for Black, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Black avoids the body shot from Zufall.
Zufall gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Black looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Black wants to get back to striking at distance but Zufall won't allow it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zufall lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Karl Black has been cut.
Zufall digs a right hand into Black's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Black's gas tank.
Zufall with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
A short body shot lands from Zufall as the two fighters clinch.
Zufall lands a nice uppercut.
Zufall unloads a knee to the mid-section. Black lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Zufall is trying to trip Black. He has hold of a leg but Black is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Zufall persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Black can do anything to dispel that myth.

Zufall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zufall is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Black is rocked!

Black is still in real trouble! Can Zufall finish him?
Zufall postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Black covers up, he's hurt! Zufall keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Zufall and the ref steps in to end the fight! Zufall can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rainer Zufall!
