PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Otool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Along Recto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Otool might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to invincible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Recto has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Recto there as he acknowledges the shot.
Recto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Otool manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Recto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Otool sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Recto somewhat.
Good exchange - Otool coming out on top.
Recto wants to clinch.
Recto takes one to the chin there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Otool bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Recto sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Otool lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Otool wants to stand up but Recto is controlling the position.
Recto slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Otool makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Otool is looking to work some ground and pound but Recto has wrist control.

Recto looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Otool is defending well. Recto quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Otool has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Recto celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
