Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hideki Tojo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Aguilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Javier Aguilar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hideki Tojo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javier Aguilar! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tojo closes the distance and clinches. Tojo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Aguilar swings wildly with an uppercut but Tojo uses good head movement to avoid it. Stalling in the clinch from Tojo.
Tojo gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Aguilar is looking to break free of the clinch but Tojo has double underhooks. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Tojo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tojo keeps control of Aguilar as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Tojo content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Aguilar can't break the clinch.
Tojo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Tojo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Aguilar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Aguilar is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Tojo is keeping busy. Tojo with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Tojo trying to control the position from guard on top but Aguilar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tojo looking to sit in guard and control but Aguilar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Aguilar stands up and waves to Tojo to follow him. Aguilar takes a head kick and keeps coming.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tojo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Aguilar sprawls well initially but Tojo persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tojo trying to control from Aguilar's half guard. Aguilar has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Tojo looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Tojo wants to control from the top but Aguilar keeps moving. Aguilar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Tojo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aguilar on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aguilar is trying to control the position but Tojo postures up. Tojo looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Tojo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Hideki Tojo just wasn't active enough. Aguilar scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aguilar misses with a punch on the inside.

Tojo pushes off an throws an elbow but Aguilar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Aguilar scores with a nice hook to the head. Tojo has Aguilar pressed against the cage, preventing Aguilar from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A battle for position here, against the cage. Aguilar blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Aguilar has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tojo uses from the top position. Aguilar trying to control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Javier Aguilar will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Tojo tries for a takedown but Aguilar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tojo gets a clinch. Tojo wants to stall.

Tojo tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Aguilar looking to stall.

Tojo tries to land knees in the clinch but Aguilar avoids the damage to the body. Aguilar misses with the head strike.
Aguilar is trying to break the clinch but Tojo is controlling him. Aguilar is trying to pull guard but Tojo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Hideki Tojo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Javier Aguilar. Aguilar stalling.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tojo putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Aguilar in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Tojo stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Aguilar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tojo backwards. Aguilar lands a shoulder strike. Tojo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Aguilar's elbow. Aguilar is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Tojo is keeping busy. Aguilar pulls guard successfully.
Tojo looking to sit in guard and control but Aguilar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Tojo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aguilar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tojo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tojo looking for a guillotine here but Aguilar defends easily.
Aguilar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Aguilar trying to control but Tojo is working from the bottom. Aguilar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tojo looking for a guillotine here but Aguilar defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Aguilar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Aguilar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Aguilar wants to stand but Tojo is controlling his posture from full guard. Tojo keeping moving, preventing Aguilar from controlling successfully. Aguilar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Aguilar is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tojo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Aguilar is one step ahead there. Aguilar trying to control the position from guard on top but Tojo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Javier Aguilar. Aguilar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tojo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Aguilar connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tojo scrambles back to his feet. Aguilar looks to land a combination but Tojo avoids it well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Aguilar cracks Tojo with a big right hand and Tojo goes down! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Aguilar wants to stand but Tojo has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Aguilar wants to pass the guard but Tojo is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Javier Aguilar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Tojo dives in and grabs Aguilar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aguilar pushes down on Tojo's head and hops out. Tojo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tojo is rocked!
Hideki Tojo's cut is getting worse. No luck for Tojo with that takedown attempt. Tojo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Aguilar on his heels. He'll look to pass Aguilar's guard now, I'm sure. Aguilar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Javier Aguilar hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Aguilar cracks Tojo with a hook to the temple - Tojo is on wobbly legs here! Aguilar swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Tojo falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Aguilar wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Javier Aguilar!
