Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: wild boy. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Max Kelly! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Kelly misses with a series of wild punches.
Kelly takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Kingston misses with a takedown attempt - Kelly sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sloppy strikes from Kelly. Those never looked like landing. A lazy left from Kelly finds it's target. Kingston slips a jab and a cross from Kelly.
Kingston has a takedown stuffed. Kelly lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Kingston closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kingston trying to control the action but Kelly is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ground and pound from Kingston seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Kingston is trying to move to mount but Kelly reverses beautifully and ends up in Kingston's guard. Kingston controls Kelly momentarily but Kelly frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. David Kingston wasn't doing enough on the ground. A nice combination there by Kelly.
Kingston jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kelly is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Kingston throws a series of punches but Kelly moves out of range. Kelly is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kingston rushes Kelly and presses him up against the cage. Kingston has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kelly is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Kingston. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kingston is struggling to control the position. Kingston tries to pull guard but Kelly forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Kelly has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kelly wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kingston manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kelly preventing the sweep. Kelly would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Kingston uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly stalks Kingston and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kingston's face. Kingston staggers backwards, shaken. Kelly uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kingston has time to react. A punch combination from Kingston misses. Kingston misses with a takedown attempt - Kelly sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kelly is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A combination from Kelly does no damage. Kingston shoots in for a takedown but Kelly shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kelly scores with a three punch combo!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kelly misses with the combination.

A close round but Max Kelly will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Kingston counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kingston controlling from the top position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kingston won't allow Kelly to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because David Kingston just wasn't active enough. Kingston looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kelly connects with the punch.

Kelly defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kingston. Kelly showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kingston.

Kingston is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kelly. Kelly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kingston moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kelly is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kingston looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kingston decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Max Kelly seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kelly on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kelly misses with the combination.
Kingston forces Kelly back against the cage and clinches. Kingston lands an uppercut. Kingston tries to pull guard but Kelly won't allow it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kingston taking a breather here. Kingston wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kelly keeps working. Kelly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kingston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Kingston dominated that second round. That's time! Kingston's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Kingston is trying to drag Kelly to the mat but Kelly just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kelly throws a combination that misses and Kingston counters with a stiff right hand. Kingston shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kelly stuffs the takedown. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kelly misses with a series of wild punches.

Kingston shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kelly but Kelly pushes him off and we're back to square one. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kingston wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kelly keeps working. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kingston passes to full mount! Kingston wants to control the pace but Kelly is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Kingston working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Kingston controlling the pace for now.
