Menor comes to the cage accompanied by The Warrior Song. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel throws a leg kick which misses Menor's front leg but catches the back leg as Menor tries to avoid it.
Menor rushes Steel and presses him up against the cage.
Steel looking to stall.
Steel pulls guard effortlessly.
Menor is looking to stand up but Steel won't let him.
Steel throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steel lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Menor!
Steel looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Poor strikes thrown by Steel there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
