Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lee Kawasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Napoleon Moreau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee Kawasaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Napoleon Moreau!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Kawasaki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Moreau changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kawasaki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kawasaki wants to control but Moreau postures up.
Moreau trying to control the position but Kawasaki is working away.
Kawasaki pushes Moreau away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Moreau gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
You can see the frustration on Kawasaki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Kawasaki is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Kawasaki is controlling Moreau's position as best he can from this difficult position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Moreau moves into the clinch successfully.
Moreau is pressed up against the cage. Kawasaki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Moreau down to the mat. Moreau avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Moreau shoots for a takedown but Kawasaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Moreau counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Moreau.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Kawasaki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Moreau has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kawasaki regains guard immediately.

Moreau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kawasaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moreau is looking for a kimura but Kawasaki is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Moreau to get the leverage.

Moreau is stalling here. Kawasaki is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Moreau seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kawasaki has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Kawasaki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Moreau is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Moreau has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kawasaki is proving hard to escape from.

A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Moreau is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Kawasaki!
