The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Miller.
Miller wants to control but Martin is keeping him busy.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jason Miller hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Miller is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Miller shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Martin's guard.

Martin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Miller manages to get himself to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Martin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Miller has momentary wrist control but Martin slips an elbow through the middle.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Miller lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Martin!
Miller tries to stand up but Martin had a hold of his arm and he's managed to perform a nice reversal, into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Martin is thwarting Miller's attempts to control the position.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Brandon Martin will probably get the nod.
