Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Solodov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Jose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Solodov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackson Jose!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jose shoots in and bounces Solodov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Solodov looking for a guillotine here but Jose defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jose tries to stand but Solodov is controlling from the bottom.
Solodov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jose defends it easily.
Solodov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jose can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jose is looking to work some ground and pound but Solodov has wrist control.
Jose wants to stand but Solodov is controlling his posture from full guard.
Solodov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jose connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jose postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Jose decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Oooooh!!! Solodov has knocked Jose down with a huge combo! Solodov steps away and waves a wobbly Jose back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Jackson Jose has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Solodov cracks Jose with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jose tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Solodov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jose is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Solodov!
Ivan Solodov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
