Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Conlon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Yeary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yeary has chosen Lose my mind- Young Buck as his entrance music. The key to victory for Tommy Conlon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cody Yeary!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conlon lunges at Yeary with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Yeary's hand.
Conlon tries to clinch there but Yeary circles away.
Conlon lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Yeary looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Conlon misses with a series of wild punches.
Yeary fails with a takedown attempt.
Conlon just misses with a punch to the body.
Yeary moves out of range of the body kick.
Conlon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
No luck for Yeary with that takedown attempt.

Conlon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Yeary tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Conlon swivels and escapes.

Yeary looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Yeary landing strikes from the mount and Conlon is in trouble!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Yeary is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Conlon is surviving well by controlling Yeary's body position as best he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Conlon throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Conlon lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Yeary backwards.
Conlon displaying some good clinch control by pressing Yeary up against the cage.
Conlon seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Conlon for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Tommy Conlon decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
