Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harrold Branch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miau Subsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Branch comes to the cage accompanied by Cocaine Blues, Johnny Cash. Harrold Branch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harrold Branch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miau Subsi! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Subsi fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Subsi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Subsi moves into the clinch. Subsi works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Subsi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Branch throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Subsi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Branch is keeping the position for now. Branch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Subsi controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Branch is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Subsi trying to control the position from guard on top but Branch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Subsi decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Branch, up you get! Subsi rushes Branch and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Branch stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Subsi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Branch uses from the top position. Branch throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Subsi wants to sweep here but Branch controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Subsi controlling the position. Branch looking to pass the guard. Branch engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Branch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Subsi managing to control the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Miau Subsi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Subsi has taken the fight to the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Subsi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Subsi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Subsi wants to get back to his feet but Branch is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Branch trying to control but Subsi is working from the bottom. Subsi looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Branch trying to control the position from guard on top but Subsi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Branch won't allow Subsi to sweep him here. Subsi keeping moving, preventing Branch from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Harrold Branch. Subsi shoots in for a double leg but Branch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Subsi clinches up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Subsi has picked Branch up - he's going for a ride! Subsi dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Subsi is looking to take a break and control but Branch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Subsi with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Branch is looking to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harrold Branch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Subsi gets a takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Subsi in particular looking to stall. Subsi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Subsi is taking a breather. Branch says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Miau Subsi was stalling too much, according to the referee. Subsi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Subsi cracks Branch with a big right hand but Branch just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Branch is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Subsi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Branch is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Subsi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Branch keeps working. Branch trying to remain calm as Subsi controls from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Branch tries to get back to half guard but can't. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Subsi staying calm.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Miau Subsi was stalling too much, according to the referee. Subsi takes the fight into the clinch.

Branch turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Branch manages to end up in side control. Branch is looking to take a break and control but Subsi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Subsi is looking to regain half guard here but Branch keeps moving and retains side control. Subsi prevents Branch from moving into mount. Subsi is trying to control Branch's posture but Branch avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Branch wants to control but Subsi is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Miau Subsi has got the better of the ground game so far. Branch trying to control the action but Subsi is working from the bottom. Subsi tries to get back to half guard but can't. Subsi is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Subsi has Branch up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Branch can't find room to land a body shot as Subsi controls the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miau Subsi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Branch looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Subsi controlling the action here. Subsi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Miau Subsi has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Branch looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Subsi closes the distance and pushes Branch back into the cage. Subsi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Branchs head. Branch looking for a takedown. Branch is looking for a takedown. Subsi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Branch pulls his leg out and moves away.

Subsi shoots in looking for a takedown but Branch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Subsi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Subsi gets tackled into the cage by Branch. Branch maintains the clinch. Branch drops down looking for an ankle pick but Subsi pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harrold Branch. That's going to take a lot out of him. Subsi has his takedown stuffed so Branch counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Subsi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Branch slips nicely into half guard. Branch is pressing down on Subsi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Subsi is holding on for now. Subsi trying to control from the bottom.
Miau Subsi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Branch is figuring out what he wants to do next. Branch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Subsi is looking to improve his position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Branch is working for a kimura but Subsi is defending it quite comfortably.

Harrold Branch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Subsi is not content to let Branch control the position. Subsi works his way to full guard. Good work.
And that's the end of the fight! Miau Subsi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Subsi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
