Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Henry Six!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rio Bignog!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Six misses with a hook. Bignog ducked under it nicely.
Bignog is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Six pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bignog is out of range and Six settles back down.
Bignog on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bignog blocks a leg kick.
Bignog swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rio Bignog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Six shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Six was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Six cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


It looks like Rio Bignog has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Six connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Bignog is still in real trouble! Can Six finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Six lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Bignog! Six sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Bignog and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Henry Six!
Henry Six retains his lightweight title!
Henry Six spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
