Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Jussipe.
Meyer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jussipe pinned against the cage. Jussipe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jussipe slaps away a takedown attempt from Meyer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Meyer tries to clinch but Jussipe moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meyer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jussipe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jussipe stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Meyer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Meyer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Meyer blocks a head kick by Jussipe.
Meyer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Meyer lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jussipe backwards.
Jussipe pulls guard successfully.
Meyer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Meyer drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Meyer seems to have locked his on tight now - Jussipe screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Meyer, as he picks up the win!
