Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sinhjo Babalu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolo Halike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikolo Halike has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babalu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Halike as he jumps to the side.
Babalu misses with a looping left.
Halike throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No luck for Babalu with that takedown attempt.
Babalu avoids a kick to the body.

Babalu takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Babalu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Halike lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Babalu backs up against the cage.

Halike clobbers Babalu with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Oh Babalu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Babalu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Halike throws out the jab.
Babalu seems to have got his legs back now.
Halike throws a sloppy head kick and Babalu moves out of range easily.

Nikolo Halike dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Crunch! Babalu slams his shin into Halike's torso.
Babalu throws a lazy right hand but Halike sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Babalu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Babalu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Babalu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Babalu is stalling here. Halike is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Babalu seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Halike has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
