Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miles Teg!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velazquez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Velazquez showed some decent athleticism there.
Velazquez is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Teg tries to get to full guard but Velazquez has control of the leg.
Velazquez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Teg wants to control but Velazquez is keeping busy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dante Velazquez.
Teg closes the distance and clinches up with Velazquez, looking for a takedown. Teg pushes Velazquez against the cage but Velazquez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Teg tries to clinch but Velazquez moves away
and Velazquez counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Velazquez postures up and lands a big shot to Teg's brow.

Teg utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Velazquez has gone for a leg lock! Teg slips out almost immediately though and dives into Velazquez's guard.
Teg is fighting to break Velazquez's control of his arms but Velazquez is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Teg content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Velazquez has locked up a guillotine! Velazquez's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Teg is holding on here and Velazquez must be using up a lot of energy. Teg has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Velazquez gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
