Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roger Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Metal Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripper is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sabaton - Metal ripper. Roger Smith has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Metal Ripper! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith throws a series of punches but Ripper avoids them all with ease. Good shot there by Smith. Ripper shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ripper wants to free his trapped foot but Smith is holding on for dear life with his legs. Ripper is working for a kimura but Smith is defending it quite comfortably.
Ripper not landing any meaningful shots this time. Smith taking some punishment here, with Ripper in his half guard. Smith is trying to stand.
Ripper is looking to take a break and control but Smith is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ripper controlling the pace. Ripper wants to control but Smith is keeping him busy. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ripper is figuring out what he wants to do next.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Metal Ripper hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A combination from Smith does no damage. Nice shot lands for Smith. Ripper darts in and clinches Smith up against the cage. Ripper prevents Smith from breaking the clinch. Ripper keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Smith's efforts to push away. Smith is trying to break free. Ripper's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Roger Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith throws a series of punches but Ripper moves out of range. Smith misses with a wild combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ripper just misses with a punch to the body.

Smith throws a combination. Ripper tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Smith is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Ripper moves into the clinch successfully.
Ripper has Smith pressed against the cage, preventing Smith from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Ripper manages to break the clinch.
Smith gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ripper to score an easy takedown into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ripper controls from within his opponent's guard. Smith keeping moving, preventing Ripper from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ripper content to stall in guard here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ripper advances position into side control! Ripper scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Smith to see if he's OK. Ripper looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ripper tries for a kimura but Smith is defending well. Smith wants to get back to his feet. Ripper is working to tighten is grip on Smith's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Smith has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ripper is really squeezing tight and eventually Smith passes out! Ripper breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Metal Ripper! An out of breath Metal Ripper thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
