The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stern walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Norris checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Norris goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kylar Stern seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Norris tries to land a front kick but Stern steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Norris fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Stern fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Norris has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Norris pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stern takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Norris misses with a low kick.
Norris swings for the body but Stern moves out of range.
Stern misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Norris counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Stern finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Norris.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Norris throws a push kick but Stern slaps the foot to one side.

Norris lands a shoulder strike.
Norris tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Norris gets through Stern's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stern tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Norris throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Norris lands with a thumping leg kick.
Norris is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Norris fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Stern is out of range.
Norris lands a head kick. Stern smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Norris circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Stern drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Norris follows Stern to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
