And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tebow swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Joy closes the distance looking to clinch
so Tebow counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Joy wants to stand and escape but Tebow is having none of it.
Tebow pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Joy is keeping the position for now.
Tebow throws an elbow that misses. Joy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tebow's guard. Nice move by Joy!
Joy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tebow to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Joy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tebow pulls down on the head and he's put Joy to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Timmy Tebow!
Timmy Tebow made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Tim drops to a knee. He points to the sky and is apparently thanking his good lord and savior, the man himself, jesus christ.'.
