Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Tucker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Austin Mask!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Tucker. No joy for Mask on that attempt.
Mask shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tucker defends it nicely.

Mask clinches.

Tucker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown by Mask or perhaps it was just good defense by Tucker which made him look bad.
Tom Tucker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Mask.
Mask misses with a head kick.

Mask gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Mask prevents Tucker from breaking the clinch.
Tucker can't break the clinch.

Mask pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Tucker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tucker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tucker wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice sprawl there from Tucker as Mask shoots in.
Mask walks into a straight right hand from Tucker.


It looks like Austin Mask has been cut.

Mask shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mask showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tucker pushes Mask off looking to stand but Mask dives back in and keeps control.

Mask is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tucker defends it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mask tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tucker knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Mask is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Tucker looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mask is trying to control the action in half guard but Tucker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Mask decides to return to a standing position.
Mask takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Tucker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Mask throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tucker was covering up waiting for the punch and Mask finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mask trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mask stops Tucker from standing up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Austin Mask dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Austin Mask's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Mask shoots in but Tucker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mask shoots in looking for a takedown but Tucker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mask's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mask tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tucker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mask somewhat.
Tom Tucker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Mask.
Tucker misses with a series of wild punches.
Tucker checks a low kick from Mask.
No joy there for Tucker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mask shoots in looking for a takedown. Tucker tries to sprawl out of it but Mask keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tucker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tucker digs a good hook to Mask's body.
Tucker lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mask is defended easily by Tucker.
Mask is breathing heavily.
Tucker lands with a hook. Mask tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Austin Mask seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mask throws a leg kick that is checked
and Tucker counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Mask off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Tucker follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Mask was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tom Tucker!
