The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corey Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Corey Jr feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Earts's calf.

Earts dives in and grabs Corey Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Corey Jr pushes down on Earts's head and hops out.

Earts tries to free his leg and advance position but Corey Jr is retaining full guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Earts thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Corey Jr's head.
Earts throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Earts looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Corey Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Earts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Corey Jr tries to avoid it but Earts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Corey Jr to the ground. Corey Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Corey Jr shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Earts's guard.
