Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Armando Juarez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Burns!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juarez moves out of range of the body kick.
Juarez blocks a head kick by Burns.
Juarez avoids the head kick by Burns.
Burns defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Juarez.

Juarez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Burns to the ground. Juarez is now in Burns's guard.
Juarez is fighting to break Burns's control of his arms but Burns is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Burns is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Juarez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Burns manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Juarez has Burns in his guard.
Burns not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Burns with a flurry of punches that miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burns slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Juarez is not content to let Burns control the position.
Juarez is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Juarez being controlled for a moment.

Burns tries for a kimura but Juarez is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Burns staying calm.

Jeff Burns comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Burns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
