Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Duarte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamed Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Igor Duarte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mohamed Zulu!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zulu scores with a jab to the jaw.
Zulu checks the leg kick nicely there.
Duarte fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zulu, pushing him back against the cage.

Duarte breaks from the clinch.
Duarte drops his hands momentarily and Zulu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Zulu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Zulu lands a lovely overhand right.
Zulu tries a low kick but Duarte avoids it.
Zulu wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Duarte closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zulu's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Zulu wants to stand but Duarte is controlling the position.
Duarte works over Zulu with some ground and pound from guard.
Duarte throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duarte is pushing down on Zulu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zulu is fighting to maintain full guard but Duarte has managed to sneak the leg through.
Duarte has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Zulu defend it? Duarte steps over the head and cranks it - Zulu is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Duarte!
