Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Training Partner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hearns comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Bruiser. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Training Partner! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Partner scores a takedown into full mount! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Hearns is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Partner lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Partner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hearns bucks Partner off and manages to get back to his feet! Thomas Hearns has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Hearns darts in and clinches Partner up against the cage. Partner drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hearns gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Hearns is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Partner can do to turn this around?

Oh, another knee lands and Partner is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Partner doesn't seem to be complaining.
