Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Hosking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hosking is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: War Machine. Vincent Hosking will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Mitchell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent Hosking!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Mitchell.
Mitchell closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hosking to the mat! Hosking manages to get full guard.
Mitchell stands and throws Hosking's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mitchell swings around for an armbar but Hosking sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mitchell's guard.
Mitchell is trying to control the position but Hosking postures up.
Mitchell is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Mitchell working for a triangle but Hosking defends it easily.
Mitchell is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mitchell pulls Hosking in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mitchell bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hosking's guard.
Hosking looks gassed!
Mitchell slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Mitchell decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hosking, up you get!
Hosking tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A left and a right from Mitchell both land. Nice combination.
Mitchell swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Mitchell looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mitchell is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hosking doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mitchell.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mitchell is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hosking!
Mitchell moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hosking has worked his arm free - good work by Hosking!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mitchell trying to control the position but Hosking is working away.
Mitchell working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mitchell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hosking keeps working.
Mitchell is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hosking has escaped the position, nice work there.
What's Hosking going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hosking tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mitchell lands a nice forearm strike.
Mitchell trying to control the action but Hosking is working from the bottom.
Mitchell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mitchell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mitchell in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Hosking is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). James Mitchell!
