Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeff Mad Cow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Boxing Coach!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Coach lands.
Coach fails with an attempt to clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mad Cow.
Coach digs a good hook to Mad Cow's body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mad Cow.

Coach has managed to clinch.
Mad Cow slows down the pace here.
Coach is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Coach has a couple of punches blocked by Mad Cow.
Coach is trying to break free.

Mad Cow pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Coach looking to sit in guard and control but Mad Cow gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Coach really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mad Cow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mad Cow works over Coach with some ground and pound from guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Coach can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coach utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mad Cow accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mad Cow with a flurry of punches that miss.
Mad Cow advances position into side control!
Mad Cow has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Coach!
Mad Cow lands with some strikes.
Mad Cow breaks from Coach's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mad Cow lands a big shot there that rocks Coach but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Coach is looking to improve his position but Mad Cow isn't that keen on the idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mad Cow cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Coach is rocked!
Mad Cow lands a big elbow - Coach is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Coach is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Jeff Mad Cow!
