Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barti Fat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Faber 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Faber stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Faber wants it to stay on the feet.
Fat scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fat slaps away a takedown attempt from Faber, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fat shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
so Faber counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Faber slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Faber is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Fat is surviving well by controlling Faber's body position as best he can.

Faber has hold of Fat's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fat manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Faber wants to take Fat's back here but Fat is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
