Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spar Bot Ii! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spar Bott! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bott closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bott stalling against the cage.
Bot Ii is trying to break the clinch but Bott has him pressed against the cage. Bott pulls guard. Bott is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Bot Ii trying to control but Bott is working from the bottom. Bott looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Spar Bott has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Bot Ii gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bott counters with a shoot takedown. Bot Ii fights it but they end up in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bott distracts Bot Ii with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bot Ii wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bott is now in half guard. Still in half guard, Bott seems content to control. Let's hope that Bott has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. It looks like Bott might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Spar Bott was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bot Ii working to try and regain half guard.
Bott controlling from the full mount. Bot Ii tries to hold on but Bott postures up. Bott controlling from mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Spar Bott wasn't active enough on the ground. Bott scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bott seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bott working Bot Ii over with strikes. Bott slows the pace down in half guard. Bott has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bott lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bot Ii hang on? Bott looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spar Bott dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bot Ii fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bot Ii gets caught napping as Bott dives in and scores a takedown. Bot Ii manages to retain guard. Bott gets to his feet. Bot Ii looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Bot Ii with a lazy takedown attempt so Bott counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bott looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bot Ii is looking to stand up but Bott isn't so interested in that idea. Bott passes Bot Ii's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bott trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spar Bott has got the better of the ground game so far.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Spar Bott wasn't active enough on the ground. Bott drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bott working the body and head with strikes. Bott controls the position from side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Spar Bott. Bot Ii moves out of range as Bott throws a body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bot Ii tries to keep at a distance but Bott has taken the fight into the clinch. Bott missing with knees to the body.
Bott decides to pull guard. Bot Ii has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bott is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Bott manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bot Ii wants to clinch up but Bott keeps it at a distance. Bot Ii shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bott defends it nicely. Bott avoids the head kick by Bot Ii.
Bott clinches up with Bot Ii and pushes him back against the cage. Bot Ii looking to stall.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bott. Bot Ii is trying to pull guard but Bott has him pressed against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spar Bot Ii. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bott has Bot Ii pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bott pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bot Ii tumbling to the mat - Bott dives into Bot Ii's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bot Ii wants to control but Bott passes easily into half guard.
Bott with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bott works his way into full mount! Bott controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bot Ii is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spar Bott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bot Ii can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bott controls the pace. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bot Ii is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Spar Bot Ii. Bot Ii with a lazy takedown attempt and Bott counters by moving into the clinch. Bot Ii is working for takedown but Bott is calmly controlling the position for now. Bott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bott shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bot Ii manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bott has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bot Ii controls Bott momentarily but Bott frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bott is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Bott scoring with punches to the head and body. Bott should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bott working some strikes from top position. Bott content to stall in guard here. Bott stands and throws Bot Ii's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bott connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bot Ii some visible discomfort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bott's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bott landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bott decides to take the fight back to the feet. Bot Ii tries for a takedown but Bott circles away easily and Bott counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bott. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spar Bot Ii. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bott is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bott stands up and waves to Bot Ii to follow him. Bot Ii throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Spar Bot Ii is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bot Ii shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bott defends it nicely. Bot Ii gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bott counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bott is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bott's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bott controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The ref stands the fighters back up. Spar Bott was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bot Ii connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bott's hands.
And that's the end of the fight! Spar Bott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bott winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
