Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Lloyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Halfway Crook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lloyd shoots for a takedown but Crook saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tom Lloyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Crook.
Crook lands a nice shot that snaps Lloyd's head back.
Good standup being displayed there by Crook as he connects with a hook.
Crook moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Lloyd shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crook as he jumps to the side.

and Crook counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Lloyd. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Crook displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lloyd.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lloyd.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Crook lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Lloyd shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Crook counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Crook connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lloyd is rocked!
Lloyd misses with a takedown attempt
and Crook counters with a huge left! Lloyd is in big trouble! He's backing up but Crook isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Lloyd from any more damage. A dominating finish by Crook!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Halfway Crook!
Halfway Crook gave a mention to Revolution Fatigues in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
