Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Carsten Van Amstel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Oscar Deldiago! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Amstel lands a big head kick that sends Deldiago tumbling to the mat! Van Amstel takes a step backwards and waves Deldiago back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Deldiago is rocked!
It looks like Oscar Deldiago has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Van Amstel throws a combination that misses and Deldiago counters with a takedown into side control. Deldiago is still in real trouble! Can Van Amstel finish him? We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Van Amstel wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Deldiago in side control, throwing shots but Van Amstel defends. I wouldn't like to be where Van Amstel is right now. Van Amstel is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Deldiago seems to have recovered his senses. Van Amstel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Van Amstel tries to get out of the position. Van Amstel tries to get back to half guard but can't. Deldiago wants to control but Van Amstel is keeping him busy. Van Amstel throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Van Amstel forces Deldiago back against the cage and clinches. Van Amstel breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Amstel lands a nice shot to the body.
Deldiago takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Carsten Van Amstel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Van Amstel forces Deldiago back against the cage and clinches. Van Amstel stalling against the cage.
Van Amstel drops Deldiago with a big knee straight up the middle! Deldiago is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
That has opened up Oscar Deldiago's cut even more. Deldiago looks gassed! Deldiago showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Van Amstel.
Van Amstel throws a right hand that Deldiago ducks under and follows up with a left that Deldiago also avoids with ease. Crack! A monster head kick from Van Amstel and Deldiago falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Van Amstel!
