12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George White! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White scores with a body shot.
White looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. White seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pazaruma does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pazaruma trying to control from the bottom.
White is trying to control. Pazaruma wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. White trying to work for an americana but Pazaruma has managed to regain full guard.
Pazaruma looking to hit a scissor sweep but White is one step ahead there. White trying to control but Pazaruma is working from the bottom. White throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pazaruma works some decent striking defense from the bottom. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Pazaruma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. White pushes down on Pazaruma's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. White is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pazaruma has managed to free his arm - good work. White is trying for a kimura here. Pazaruma looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! White wins by kimura!
