The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kowalski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Malapitan defends it nicely.
Kowalski lands with a cross.
Malapitan blocks the body kick.
Kowalski tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Malapitan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Malapitan.

Malapitan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Malapitan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Malapitan loads up with a big shot that hurts Kowalski! He's pulled Malapitan in close but Malapitan has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Kowalski survive? More strikes from Malapitan and Kowalski is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
